O woman of Samaria!
You may have read about a Samaritan woman in John 4 in the New Testament. Her name is not mentioned here. We know that she had lived with six men.
When the Lord Jesus Christ said to her, 'Bring your husband here,' she would have brought the last man who lived with her and would have told a lie that he was my husband. Without saying so, she told Him the truth that the one who is running the family with me at this time is not my husband.
The Lord Jesus Christ, who saw the truth she had in her sinful life, taught her the deepest secrets of spirituality. He revealed to her that He was the Messiah, saying that He was the Lamb who bore the sins of the people of the world. It was a great privilege for her.
She quickly went to her village and witnessed that He had told everything I had done. Many of the Samaritans believed because of her witness and accepted Him wholeheartedly as the Messiah.
Many of the Samaritans believed and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ because of the truth found in that sinful woman and because of her quick ministry. Truly that woman’s action is admirable. We have read these incidents many times in Scripture. We have heard it in many sermons.
In this prophetic message, let us meditate about, how did the six men come into the life of that truthful woman? What is the reason for having a family with five other men besides her husband who did good deeds? Why did she have contact with so many men? What could be the reason why so many people today are still in contact with so many men? We are going to meditate a little more deeply and in detail with prayer. Read this earnestly. You will learn many spiritual secrets. If this message is of blessing to you, raise your hands and give all glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. At 12 noon the Lord Jesus Christ exhausted by the journey; came to the well of Jacob in the town of Sychar in Samaria. His disciples had gone to a neighboring town to buy lunch. It was in this well that the patriarch Jacob and his children drank water. His animals also drank water.
At noon the Samaritan woman came to the well with a pitcher for taking water. Jesus said to her, "Give me a drink of water." And she answered and said unto Him, "How can you, being a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans). So she asked.
The Lord Jesus Christ answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked Me and I would have given you living water.”
He spoke to her of spiritual secrets. She thinks carnally without realizing it, the well is deep and You have no vessel to fetch water. So she asked Him where the living water came from.
Jesus replied, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst, it will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
The Lord Jesus Christ spoke of the Holy Spirit. She thought it was drinking water and asked to give her that water so that she would not get thirsty and come here to fetch water.
We need to meditate a little deeper on these words she said here. As long as we live in this world, we must drink water for the need of the flesh in order to survive. Drinking can cause thirst again. When you are thirsty, you need to drink water again. If the pitch is empty without water, have to go to the well to fetch water. This is something that happens constantly and alternately. This will give a little difficulty. However, this must be tolerated. This applies to everyone living in the world.
But, she did not want even this little difficulty and asked Him to give her that water so that she would never be thirsty for the rest of her life and never come to the side of the well to take the water.
From this word she said, we could able to understand her nature. She is unable to bear even the minor hardships that come with worldly life and unable to cope with it. She thinks and acts that if something gets a hardship, she will abandon it permanently so that it will never come to life again.
We would have read in Proverbs 14:1, "A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands." In her family life also, there were minor problems and difficulties that occur commonly among husband and wife. She must have dealt with it wisely and intelligently. Without doing so, "no need to live this life anymore, not to live a family life with him, he is not good, the problem will come if I live with him." So she foolishly broke up the family, thinking that there would be no peace in this family life. Thus, she may have gone away from her husband or he may have died. Then she started thinking that she could marry someone else.
If she could not move the ship of life with her husband according to justice how could she move with others? As many men in succession have come into her life. Now, she has become the wife of six men and lived with six men. She has become the owner of a life of shame. This is how many men came into her life.
Family life as husband and wife is not easy. Minor fights, problems, struggles, difficulties, fatigue, grumbling, disturbances of the peace, frustration, disunity will occur. Definitely, these things occur. No one is an exception to this.
We have to deal with such difficulties with the wisdom and understanding that heaven gives, and we have to resist it. On the contrary, should not leave the God-given spouse by saying, "He is not needed... She is not needed..." Don't speak let us divorce and remarry. Many men or many women will come into life when saying this. Then you will be humiliated by worldly people.
Children of God who read this message diligently! The Holy Spirit has taught you many things from the life of this Samaritan woman. Submit yourself for the word He spoke to you. Obey it. Your family will be built. Amen.
