What is the greatest sin in God's eyes?

All praise, honor, glory, renown, fame, and pride be to the Father of heaven, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and to the Holy Spirit. I extend our warmest greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ on behalf of Prophetic Words Ministry, for those of you who have eagerly clicked the link to read the prophetic message entitled "What is the greatest sin in God's eyes?" Surely Almighty God will bless and exalt you according to Numbers 23:23.

There is no difference between small sin and big sin. Murder, adultery, and prostitution are sinful, likewise lying, anger, foolishness, and jealousy are also sinful. All these things defile men (Mark 7: 20-22). But, some sins will immediately bring the wrath of God and bring about justice. Some sins bring the wrath of God a little late (1 Timothy 5:24). I.e. giving time to repent. What brings God's wrath right away? Are sexual sins like adultery, prostitution, lust, and lewdness? Or idolatry? Which will give immediate judgment? What will bring justice right away? Let us meditate this a little more detail in this prophetic message. Before reading this message, it is important to keep in mind that idolatry and sexual sins such as adultery, prostitution, lust, and lewdness lead man to Sheol, and these sins are all against heaven.

The prophet Balaam intends to curse the people of Israel. But, could not curse. Because the hand of the protection of Almighty God was with those people. Realizing this, Balaam devised a plan to separate the people from God (Numbers 25:18). The plan was to send the Moabite women into the land of Israel to make them commit prostitution and then to make them eat their sacrifices to idols and to worship idols. Balaam knew that if people worshiped idols, God would turn away from them and His wrath would come upon them.

According to this plan, while the people of Israel were in Shittim, Moabite women came to them and invited them to commit prostitution. And the people of Israel began to commit prostitution with them. Thus the wrath of the Lord did not come upon them at the time they committed sexual sins. The plague did not begin. Perhaps mercy would have been obtained if they had come into God's presence and confessed sins.

Thus they invited the people who had committed prostitution with them to the feast and made them eat the sacrificial meal of their gods so that they would not repent to God. The people of Israel also ate the sacrificial meal and worshipped their gods (Numbers 25:1-2).

In Numbers 25:3 Word of the Lord says, “So Israel yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor. And the LORD's anger burned against them." Notice the word 'so'. That is, sexual sins such as adultery, prostitution, and lust are cruel sins. They do not immediately bring the wrath of God. Will give time for repentance. But the anger of the LORD will be kindled when the people, who know the Almighty God, turn aside from Him, and stand before idols, and worship them, and hold fast to it. Plagues will begin. Thus the anger of the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel. And the plague killed 24,000 people (Numbers 25: 9).

Therefore, the children of God should not turn away from Almighty God for any reason. Should not deny the Lord Jesus Christ. Do not fall in front of idols and hold fast to it. Perhaps if you caught up in sexual sins such as adultery because of the devil's trick, patiently wait without giving up the faith, He will give time and grace to repent. He will lift you up from sin.

The greatest truth we can learn through this prophetic message is when comes to sexual sin? Or idolatry? In God's eyes, idolatry is the greatest sin. Perhaps being caught in the snare of the devil in sexual sins means that one can receive the time for repentance if one defends the faith from denying the Lord Jesus Christ.
