John the Baptist came into the wilderness and preached, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." So the People went out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region of the Jordan, confessed their sins and got a baptism of repentance. At that, many Pharisees and Sadducees came to him to be baptized. He didn't say to others, "You brood of vipers!" But when he saw that the Pharisees and Sadducees were coming, he looked at them and said, "You brood of vipers!"

Why did he say so? What was lacking in them? Scripture calls Satan as the serpent and the snake. Were they children of Satan for they are called a brood of vipers? What is the sin of these Pharisees and Sadducees? Let us meditate on this in more detail. Read this message with prayer. If this prophetic message speaks to you, first give full glory to the heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Pray two minutes for this Prophetic Words Ministry.

These Pharisees and Sadducees would be stabbed in the heart and repent when they hear hard sermons. But they won't even bear little fruit of repentance, saying that let us commit sin and could go to heaven at the last minute. Fruitless Life was seen among them. If asked them why, they would say, our father is Abraham; We are the children of Abraham; owners of the Covenant; no matter how we live or even we sin, God will accept and take us to heaven.

Thus, they had lived their lifetime of day and night in sin and came to baptize, thinking that some destruction had come when the voice of the One calling in the wilderness was heard. John saw them and called a brood of vipers in the meaning of children of Satan.

Even today we could see some men in today's churches. They would say, I am saved, anointed, I am going to church, I am giving offering; So, No matter what I do wrong anymore, and they will not give a little fruit, saying that God will protect me. If asked, would say there is a covenant of grace and there is grace, so they live as they wish. They are today's brood of vipers. The axe is placed near their roots.
